More About Me

Lopez Island is a unique place with one of the most beautiful settings to be found anywhere. If you are looking for a quiet, slower pace, or a place to get away from 'it all', then this island may be for you. Over the years, I have enjoyed working with buyers & sellers of properties ranging from waterfront land & homes, to lots, and acreages. I will work hard to sell your property or if you are a buyer, find you the right property for you.

I have been buying and selling real estate since 1973, building & remodeling homes & commercial property in the Lake Tahoe & Northern Nevada areas. My wife Carol & I spent our honeymoon many years ago in the San Juans & vacationed in the area over the years. In 1991, our family moved to Lopez Island, built a home, and then started selling real estate on a full time basis in 1992. I have built several homes on Lopez & recently moved a few years ago into a new home overlooking beautiful Fisherman Bay.

I graduated from Granada Hills High School (Los Angeles) in 1962, joined the Navy & served in the far East aboard the USS Kearsarge. I then attended Washington State University in Pullman, Washington and graduated in 1970 with a teaching credential. I played football under coach Jim Sweeney, and coached the freshman team with WSU's former head coach Mike Price. GO COUGS! I taught Physical Education & Science in the San Fernando Valley before changing professions to run an independent insurance agency in the Tahoe area. When that sold, we bought 40 acres, built a house and raised four daughters as well as Texas Longhorn cattle.
